Boys Volleyball Goes 2-2 at Fishers Tournament

The Varsity Boys' Volleyball team participated in Fishers' March Madness Tournament. They first faced a strong, experienced Fishers team. The team fought hard but lost in two sets (14-25 & 13-25). The team made some adjustments and then took on Lafayette High out of KY and defeated them in two sets (25-21 & 26-24). This placed the Raiders in the Silver Bracket where they defeated Brownsburg in three sets (23-25, 25-19, & 15-10) moving them on to the championship match. There they faced Hamilton Southeastern and even though they fought hard, they were unable to secure the win losing in two sets (16-25 & 22-25). The Raiders had a great day and finished Runners Up in the Silver Bracket.

Andrew Hostetler had 26 kills, 4 aces, 3 blocks and 22 digs. Ian McKinney had 6 kills, 2 blocks, and 37 assists. Conner Blevins had 2 aces, 12 digs, and 33 assists. Ludvig Tahvanainen had 25 kills and 18 digs. Luiz Pinto had 9 kills and 3 blocks. Mario Brkaric had 12 kills and 7 blocks. Tommy Price and Antonio Figueras stepped up and played great defense for the team.
