Harrison Boys Volleyball traveled to participate in the Avon Invite on Saturday. They first took on Ben Davis and dropped the first set 23-25. In the second set the Raiders were able to find a way past Ben Davis' defense and won 25-20. This sent the match into a third set and the Raiders couldn't find a rhythm and dropped the set 7-15. They then took on Avon where they won the first set 25-23. In the second set, Avon's hitters were attacking around our block and therefore won the set 20-25. This sent the team into a third set where the Raiders battled back and forth with Avon but unfortunately come up short losing the third set 13-15. Competing against these two more experienced teams showed the growth the Raiders have made as well as the areas the team will focus on for improvement.
